AJC Global Forum is the premiere annual Jewish advocacy conference, bringing together over 2000 advocates from across the globe to tackle the most pressing issues facing the Jewish people, Israel, America, and the world. My goal was to create a conference brand that felt welcoming and positive, embracing the spirit of tikkun olam—repairing the world.
I set out to create a brand for the conference that could grow and evolve with the organization over time. It was important to stakeholders that the brand look Jewish, touch on the global reach of the event, and didn't leave room for antisemetic tropes. The logo is a circle comprised of two three strand "braids" with a Star of David at the center. The strands represent the core Jewish values of truth, peace, and justice, as well as unity throughout the Jewish disaspora over shared values.
