SYMPHONY SPACE

ROLE | ILLUSTRATION, GRAPHIC DESIGN

Notecard merchandise featuring 22 portrait illustrations created for Symphony Space's 2012 Gertrude's Paris Festival, celebrating Gertrude Stein's impact on the art world. Notecards were sold in 2 sets, each with 11 A7 cards and envelopes. Client asked for the illustrations to have a "New Yorker Magazine feel."

After leaving Symphony Space's in house team in 2014 they commissioned me to create their 2015 gala invitations using the same portrait illustration style. The client requested the invites also have an art deco flair to match the decor of the event. Color palette was kept black and white to keep costs down, and a vellum insert was added for a bit of variation in the invite suite.
