Frida Kill wanted the album art for their full length "Kill! Kill!" record to reference the iconic movie poster for "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" and came to me with fantastic images to work with. I wanted the art to show the process and the imperfections. I wanted real drop shadows and visible printers marks, a reflection of the raw sound and vibe of Frida Kill.

Typesetting and basic layouts were set on the computer. Those elements were printed on transparent film, stacked and layered with circles of vellum creating physical depth between each design element. This was scanned back into the computer.
